Kayakers down on the lake puttering about among the icebergs.

Lots of ice melt contributing to magnificent waterfalls.

Watch this space. In the summer I've seen bears fishing here. The salmon get stuck in the pool below the falls and it's an easy lunch.

Goatsbeard in full bloom on the trails.

Summer is here and so are the wildflowers. Acres of buttercups, lupine, chocolate lillies, and wild iris. Sunday we went on a long hike at the end of the road by Echo Bay.

Those crazy zipliners...

D. was off bear hunting Sunday so I hiked over to the west side of the glacier. I wish the self timer on my camera was more than 20 seconds. Took a few takes to scramble down the hill and actually make it in the picture. :-)

Might have to click on the pic to see the people walking on the glacier...

Anybody for fiddlehead salad?

Last night we biked down to the grocery store. You never know what you're going to see if you keep your eyes open...

The arctic terns are back at their usual breeding grounds near the glacier.
